1	The similarity is there because the riff / guitar part was written by John McCurry, John Waite's guitarist in 1987 on this Rovers Return album. John later 'moved on' and took the riff to Desmond Child and Alice who changed the song around and added a lot more , making Poison. Not sure thats allowed, but thats what happened, giving Alice Cooper one of the biggest hits of his career. I know, because, John Waite told me this himself. Author: kutefm
2	This song sounds a lot like Alice Cooper's song "Poison." Gosh, the similarity is startling! I know this song pre-dated Cooper's "Poison" by at last 5 years, and "Poison" was penned by Cooper and Desmond Child, but still, the songs are much too alike to be a coincidence. Author: ny4000

4	@kutefm wow was just doin some reminiscing on spotify of some artists from the 80's i used to listen to and this track came up. Makes sense i guess if McCurry had the riff. Although i have to agree i prefer the Poison incarnation of the riff, simply because the underlying bass notes change over the riff. Bed of Nails from the Poison album also features an intro with the same riff, but over a different progression and with an eerie kinda back sampled sound. Author: MetalFatigued
